Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions outline the permissible uses and restrictions for participation in any of Beth Ratchford’s virtual workshops (the "Workshop"). By registering for and/or participating in the Workshop, you agree to abide by the following terms and conditions:
- Purpose of the Workshop
This Workshop is designed for psychoeducation purposes only. It is not a substitute for therapy and it is recommended that it be utilized in conjunction with therapy. All material, discussions, and interactions within the Workshop are solely for this stated psychoeducational purpose.
- Permitted Use of Workshop Content
Participants are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Workshop content, which may include, but is not limited to, live presentations, recorded sessions, downloadable documents, and interactive exercises (collectively, "Workshop Content"), for their personal educational use only. Specifically, you may:
- Access and view live and/or recorded Workshop sessions.
- Download and print provided handouts or supplementary materials for your personal study.
- Take notes during sessions for your personal reference.
- Participate in discussions and interactive activities as intended.
- Prohibited Uses of Workshop Content
The following uses of the Workshop Content are strictly prohibited:
- Commercial Use: You may not use any Workshop Content for any commercial purpose, including but not limited to, selling, reselling, licensing, sublicensing, renting, leasing, lending, or distributing the content to third parties.
- Unauthorized Distribution/Sharing: You may not record, reproduce, copy, duplicate, modify, distribute, publish, transmit, display, perform, broadcast, or create derivative works from any part of the Workshop Content, in any form or by any means, without the express prior written permission of Beth Ratchford. This includes, but is not limited to, sharing access links, login credentials, or downloaded materials with non-registered individuals.
- Intellectual Property
You acknowledge that all intellectual property rights in the Workshop Content, including copyrights, trademarks, and trade secrets, belong to Beth Ratchford. Your participation in the Workshop does not grant you any ownership rights to the Workshop Content.
- Participant Conduct
Participants are encouraged, but not required, to turn their camera on during the Workshop. This helps facilitate engaged interactions between the presenter and participants. Participants are expected to engage respectfully and professionally with facilitators, speakers, and other participants. Disruptive, harassing, or inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated and may result in immediate removal from the Workshop without refund.
- Recording
The teaching portion of this Workshop will be recorded. The recording will only feature the presenter. Interactive Q&A will be included in the live Workshop format only.
- Limitation of Liability
In no event will Beth Ratchford be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with your participation in the Workshop or the use or inability to use the Workshop Content.
- Termination of Access
Beth Ratchford reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to terminate or suspend your access to the Workshop at any time, without prior notice, for any violation of this Limitation of Use Policy or for any other reason deemed necessary.
- Amendments
Beth Ratchford reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting the updated policy on the Workshop registration page or platform. Your continued participation in the Workshop after such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
- All Sales Are Final
Once you purchase access to the recorded workshop, all sales are final. Our recorded workshops provide immediate, on-demand access to valuable content upon purchase. Due to the digital nature of this product and the immediate access granted, it's not possible to "return" the content once it has been delivered. We do not offer refunds, credits, or exchanges for recorded workshops after the purchase is complete. This policy applies to all reasons for cancellation, including but not limited to:
- Change of mind: Deciding you no longer wish to view the workshop.
- Lack of time: Inability to dedicate time to watch the recording.
- Technical issues on your end: Problems with your device, internet connection, or software that prevent you from accessing or viewing the recording. (We recommend reviewing our technical requirements before purchase.)
- Dissatisfaction with content: While we strive to provide high-quality content, subjective satisfaction is not a basis for a refund. We encourage you to review the workshop description, learning objectives, and any available previews before purchasing.
- Workshop content not meeting expectations: Our workshop descriptions aim to be accurate and comprehensive. Please ensure the workshop's content aligns with your needs before purchasing.
